SINGLE-ARM FORK MOUNT
The LX65 features a redesigned single-arm mount that operates with Meade's AudioStar® hand control. This new mount is compact and very rigid, offering a great combination of portability and performance. Additionally, the LX65 has the ability to load two optical tubes simultaneously, making your experience twice as exciting! With this portable and quick-to-set-up setup, you'll be ready to observe in minutes. The LX65 system separates into three compact parts and requires no tools, making transportation to your favorite location a breeze.

This rugged mount uses AudioStar®, a database of over 30,000 objects to observe. With the push of a button, let the Astronomer inside the AudioStar® take you on a guided tour to the best celestial objects that night. With its built-in speaker, you'll be able to learn much more about the objects you're observing—it's like having an astronomer right there on your observing session.

Aligning your telescope is simple and straightforward, too. With a simple two-star alignment, you'll be observing the sky in minutes. The AudioStar® will locate two bright stars, and once you've centered them in your eyepiece, simply press [ALIGN] and you're ready to go. Ready.

This versatile mount includes two dovetail mounts so you can use two optical tubes simultaneously. You can load up to 3.5kg on the secondary mount, so you can observe in a wide field or at close range (using two tubes). This added versatility makes the LX65 a great mount for community outreach or sharing the night sky with others, and it's sure to impress anyone with its technology.
